Healing Hands Mentorship connects students directly with physicians through curated podcasts, structured meetings, and opportunities for clinical shadowing. Students apply through a concise but thoughtful application process. Selected participants gain insight by listening to HHM’s unique podcast series, which features interviews with individuals across the medical journey, from college undergraduates preparing for medical school to practicing physicians. HHM then facilitates a meeting between the student and physician so students can ask questions, receive guidance, and, at the physician’s discretion, shadow them. While HHM collaborates with physicians across a wide range of specialties who are open to mentorship, students  advocate for their own shadowing opportunities because physicians often have limited time and availability for shadowing placements.
